One thing most people don't know about you?
I'm pretty open, but I do not share my lupus story with everyone.
When were you diagnosed?
2012
What methods of treatment do you use? Traditional and non-traditional
-medication: yes or no
No medication: I manage it with diet and exercise and keeping my stress levels under control.
Do you have a support system if so who?
My mother
What life milestones have you achieved since your diagnoses?
Becoming the youngest lecturer at an ivy league school and creating the first affinity group for young professionals at my company. Also, I have been featured in recruiting videos for the world’s largest financial investment company.
What challenges do you daily face as a result of lupus?
Not many, unless I have a flare up. It is a challenge when I am having a flare and the doctors not knowing what’s wrong in order to treat it.
Who or what motivates you to live?
Me and my Lord and Savior!
How do you inspire others with your life?
I just live life with passion and excitement. I have lupus but lupus does not have me!
